Dhanwantharam gulika is one that pacifies Vata dosha and it cures fatigue. Mix 20ml of kashayam with 60ml of water and add 1 Dhanwantharam gulika (powdered) and intake twice daily in empty stomach.6.30AM & 6.30 PM. Lehyam can be started on the 6th day after normal delivery and 11th day after Caesarean delivery. Thenginpookuladi Rasayanam - It is the best medicine for all postnatal ailments. Gopeechandanadi gulika increases the immunity power of the baby thus helping it to fight against various diseases. Grind 1 gulika with breastmilk and apply little by little on the baby's tongue frequently, thus finish it by one day. It can be given after 10 days after birth. Oil bath can be started only after the umbilical cord falls off and if there is any wound, let it heal properly. Nalpamaradi Keram:-As the skin of the baby is so soft, it easily gets dried up. Hence, applying oil to the skin is necessary. Nalpamaradi Keram removes unwanted hairs, provides complexion and keeps the skin glowing. Soft oil massage strengthens the muscles and bonesApply this oil all over the body and do soft massage before bath. Use lukewarm water for bathing and apply Rasnadi choornam at the crown of the head after the bath.
