- Newborn babies sleep for an average of 16 to 18 hours. This is just an average estimate, it is completely normal if your baby sleeps more or less than this.
- Out of these total hours of sleep, babies get around 8 to 9 hours of sleep at night.

What to do as parents
- Allow your child to sleep as much as possible.
